Exporting Data: CSV, Excel, Google Drive, and OneDrive

How do I export extracted data from Lido?

After extracting data from your documents, there are several ways to get that data out of Lido and into the tools and systems you use.

Exporting manually (download to your computer)

Export to CSV or Excel

Click the three dots menu on any sheet in Lido and select Export to CSV or Export to Excel. The file downloads directly to your computer with all the extracted data in tabular format.

This is the quickest way to grab your data when you need it for a one-time analysis or manual upload to another system.

Exporting automatically (send to a destination)

For ongoing workflows, you can set up Lido to automatically send extracted data to a destination every time extraction completes.

Configure a Google Drive output in your workflow or automation settings. Select the folder where you want files saved. Lido will automatically deposit exported files (Excel or CSV) into that folder after each extraction run.

Send to OneDrive

Similar to Google Drive — configure a OneDrive output node in your workflow. Paste the OneDrive folder URL and ensure the folder is shared with Lido's service account with editor permissions.

Set up an email output to automatically send extracted data as an Excel or CSV attachment to one or more recipients. You can configure the recipient email addresses, the frequency, and the file format. This is popular for teams that want a daily summary of everything extracted.

Push via API (JSON format)

For direct system integration, use Lido's API to receive extracted data in JSON format. Each extraction template has its own API configuration — click the API button at the bottom of your extractor to access documentation and generate API keys. The API pushes data directly to your database or application without any manual steps.

API access is available starting on the Professional plan and above.

How do I export data to Excel format specifically?

Click the three dots menu on your Lido sheet, then select Export to Excel. Your data downloads as an .xlsx file with all columns and rows preserved. If you have computed columns with formulas, the exported file will contain the calculated values.

You can also set up automated exports that deliver Excel files to Google Drive, OneDrive, or email on a schedule.

Can I delete rows from my Lido sheet after exporting?

Yes. You can configure your automation or workflow to clear data from sheets after export. This is useful if you want each export to contain only new data rather than accumulating historical records. This is done by choosing "delete rows" box when under the email automation tab in the data extractor pop-up.

If you want to keep a historical record, export or download the data first before clearing.

How do I push extracted data directly into QuickBooks?

There are two approaches:

  1. Manual export/import: Export data from Lido as a CSV or Excel file, then import that file into QuickBooks. This works well for lower volumes.

  1. API integration: Set up a direct API connection so extracted data flows automatically from Lido into QuickBooks without any manual steps. Once configured, data pushes instantly after extraction completes.
