# Lido FAQ: platforms, languages, file types, and how to reach us

## How to reach the right person

- **This chat** - fastest for product help. The AI answers instantly; humans monitor on weekdays.
- **help@trylido.com** - password resets, account recovery, billing/receipts, account deletion.

- **No phone support** - support is chat and email only (Enterprise plans include scheduled live support). Phone numbers found via search engines are not ours.

## Demos and evaluating Lido

- **Demos are tailored for teams with ongoing volume (roughly 1,000+ pages/month) or workflow automation use cases** - email justin@trylido.com or use the Calendly link above, ideally with a sample document and your monthly volume.
- You can sign up with any email address, including personal ones.

## Platforms and capabilities

- **Desktop web only.** No iOS or Android app, and mobile browsers are not supported.
- **Languages:** nearly all, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, and all major European languages.
- **Handwriting:** yes, including cursive - a good rule of thumb is that if a person can read it, Lido can usually extract it.
- **File types:** PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG, HEIC, Excel (.xlsx), CSV - including scans and photos.
- **Output:** structured rows and columns in a Lido sheet, exportable to CSV/Excel/Google Sheets or pushed automatically to Drive, OneDrive, or email (paid plans).

## Not supported today

- WhatsApp integrations
- Converting Excel to PDF
- Extracting embedded photos/images out of documents (Lido extracts text and data, not image files)
- A plain-text "transcription mode" (output is always structured into columns)
- Editing the source PDF itself

## Billing quick facts

- Card payments unlock access instantly. **ACH/bank payments take 5-7 days to clear** before access unlocks - use a card if you need access today.
