Free trial: what is included (and what needs a paid plan)

Every new Lido account includes 50 free pages of data extraction - no credit card required. This is a one-time allowance to prove Lido extracts your documents correctly before you pay.

Included in the free trial

• Data extraction on any supported document (PDF, scans, images, Excel)
• Full extraction results visible in your Lido spreadsheet
• The in-app AI assistant (lightning bolt icon) to refine instructions
• Re-extracting the same document within 24 hours at no extra page cost

Requires a paid plan

• Exporting or downloading data (CSV, Excel, Google Sheets)
• Printing
• Automated exports (Drive, OneDrive, email)

This is the most common trial question: you can see your extracted data in Lido on the trial, but taking the data out of Lido requires any paid plan. The trial exists to prove the extraction quality on your real documents.

Tips to make the trial count

• Do not bulk-upload your backlog. Every page processed counts: a 70-file batch can consume all 50 pages in one run. Test with 5-10 representative pages first.
• A multi-page PDF counts one credit per page (a 50-page PDF uses the full trial).
• If results need tweaking, adjust instructions and re-run the same document within 24 hours - free.
• Trial pages cannot be reset or topped up.

When the trial runs out
